Safety experts Arco will be launching the new Big Book Catalogue at Health & Safety North on 8th – 9th October at Bolton Arena. To accompany the launch, Arco will be showcasing a variety of new products including a brand new range of flame resistant (FR) garments, specifically designed to increase worker protection in high risk environments, as well as launching ArcoPro fall arrest equipment and the new Assembly Range of gloves.

Committed to keeping people safe at work, Arco has developed the ArcoPro range of FR garments that offer multi-norm protection and meet the requirements of Category III of the European PPE Directive. Arco is the first distributor in the industry to test its garment combinations using both Thermal Mannequin and TPP (Thermal Protection Performance) testing; tests that not only record heat and flame resistance, but also measure the time between the wearer feeling pain and receiving a second degree burn. Therefore customers can be assured that each garment meets the highest safety standards and comfort. The ArcoPro products are incorporated into a range of complementary products, including base layers, mid layers, workwear, weather protection and chemical protection.

Understanding customer needs and the risks they face lies at the heart of the design of Arco’s new range of ArcoPro Fall Protection; with all products custom built to be extremely comfortable, lightweight and robust. A range of the new fall arrest equipment will be on display on stand K16 and Arco technical experts will also be on hand to offer advice on the best available protection.

Visitors to the stand will also be able to sample the latest gloves from Arco, including the brand new Assembly Range. Gloves in the range are comfortable, lightweight and dextrous, making them ideal for precision manufacture, light assembly, electronics and white goods manufacturing, as well as micro construction. Arco’s very own technical gloves specialist will be carrying out product demonstrations over the course of the show and will also be available to answer any questions.

As part of the educational programme at the show, Ken Smith of Arco’s Training and Consultancy division, will also be delivering a seminar entitled ’Trained – Yes. Compliant – Maybe?’.
