Ex d Enclosures – Extronics stock a range of Ex d / Flameproof enclosures which can be used both as junction boxes, with or without terminals, and to install other electrical equipment such as switches, indicators, etc. They are fully certified to ATEX, IECEx and GOST (R & K) Zone 1 / 21 standard and are suitable for those industries where potentially explosive environments exist, e.g. chemical, oil and gas, etc. These enclosures are have either hinged (EJB) or threaded (GUB) lids and are available in a wide variety of sizes, usually from stock.
Ex e Increased Safety Terminal Enclosures – As a complimentary range to the Ex d range, Extronics stock a high quality range of Ex e enclosures. Made from 316L Stainless steel, these enclosures are rated as corrosion resistant for a minimum of 25 years. Available in sizes up to 1200x1000x300mm with a choice of hinged or screwed cover, they are fully ATEX certified to Ex e standard.
