Leading occupational health and safety (OH&S) Standard ISO 45001 has been awarded to UK contract cleaning provider, Exclusive Services Group.
Designed to improve levels of workplace safety and employee health and wellbeing, the Standard guides the identifying, assessing and controlling of risk and enabling continual improvement through risk reduction.
One of the main changes and improvements to the Standard against its predecessor OHSAS 18001 is greater emphasis on consultation and participation of workers. More process-driven than 18001, 45001 focuses on regulations and governance as well as corporate culture and its impact on staff, customers and the general public.
