Bureau Veritas is delighted to announce the appointment of Matt Knight as a Senior Wind Consultant in its fast growing and innovative Renewable Energy division.

In his new role, Matt will focus on the design and analysis of a number of different renewable systems across a range of projects as the business strives to lead the way in certification and advisory services in the UK’s renewable energy market.

Following a competitive recruitment process, Matt secured the role, having demonstrated his unrivalled knowledge of fixed and floating offshore wind.

Having studied Engineering Design at Bristol University, Matt went on to become a Consultant Engineer. His wind experience includes feasibility and market studies and one of his major projects in 2021 saw him deliver a series of technical, environmental, and commercial studies to countries beginning to develop offshore wind industries, the recommendations of which are being adopted into law.

Commenting on his appointment, Matt Knight said: “I am thrilled to be joining Bureau Veritas at such as exciting time for the business as it continues to expand and grow the Renewable Energy division. I’m looking forward to developing and complementing the existing team by using my experience of delivering large scale multidisciplinary projects across a range of sectors.

“Stepping into this newly created position as Senior Wind Consultant means I have the capabilities to grow and evolve my role while developing the capabilities of Bureau Veritas in the renewable energy field.
