After the extremely successful partnership in 2018, the British Safety Industry Federation (BSIF), the UK’s trade body for the safety industry, has once again confirmed that it will be partnering with Maintec which returns on the 30th-31st October 2019 at The NEC, Birmingham.

The BSIF, who provide support and guidance on a wide range of occupational safety issues will be returning to Maintec in recognition of safety being an increasingly important addition to the maintenance engineers job responsibility.

The announcement follows previous news from the organisers that the Society of Operations Engineers will also be supporting the 2019 event and providing official CPD approval for the events’ seminar programme.

Ian Crellin, Marketing Manager, BSIF said: ‘We are delighted to once again be partnering with Maintec which we see as the key event within the maintenance, reliability and asset management industry. The ability to meet with industry professionals and learn about their needs in a safety aspect is vital for BSIF to be able to help and guide all industry sectors that have a reliance upon good safety practices and enables us  to push forward the message that good safety is good for business.’

Jos Diamond, Event Manager, Maintec said: “Safety is a growing and very much important part of the maintenance function. Following a wave of new safety legislation, it is vital we have partners such as BSIF and their members to be on-hand to provide our visitors expert advice on how to keep their equipment, machines and their work environment safe and reliable.”

Plans are already underway for the event with many manufacturers and suppliers having already confirmed their attendance for the event. Visitor registration will be available from June 2019.
