BLM, the UK’s commercial law and insurance risk specialist, has expanded its health & safety practice with the appointment of partner Peter James.

James will lead the safety, health and environment (SHE) team in London working closely with Helen Devery, head of BLM’s health & safety national practice. He joins from Harrison Clark Rickerbys.

Qualifying as a solicitor in 1994 after being called to the Bar at Inner Temple he has, since 2002, specialised in health, safety and environmental law, trading standards, food safety and serious motor offences, representing companies and senior individuals involved in investigations and prosecutions by the Police and Regulators.
