Manufacturer of explosion-proof electrical equipment for the oil and gas industry, COOPER Crouse-Hinds, will be exhibiting its full range of products at this year’s Offshore Europe 2011 exhibition being held in Aberdeen on 6th-8th September.

With its CEAG and MTL brands, the company designs, manufactures and supplies a range of electrical products that cover the requirements placed on modern, explosion-protected, electrical installation technology, including illumination, safeguarding, signalling, control, instrumentation and distribution of electrical energy in potentially explosive atmospheres, including onshore and offshore oil and gas installations.

The primary focus of the COOPER Crouse-Hinds stand this year (3A64) is a showcase of a sample of CEAG control panel boards, including different types of enclosures and their various functions, along with MTL’s products. The MTL range comprises of electronic instrumentation and protection equipment for the process control and telecommunications industries. These products include intrinsically safe Ethernet, remote I/O, network security, wireless and HART connectivity, HMI and visualisation, process alarm management, surge protection and fieldbus networks.

There will also be a display illustrating the CEAG range of explosion-protected lighting, including both fluorescent and LED light fittings. Other CEAG products include portable Ex lamps, Ex signal and escape sign luminaires, Ex plugs and receptacles, Ex portable power solutions, Ex control stations and switching, Ex low voltage distribution panels, motor starters and termination enclosures. Visitors to the stand will also get a chance to win an iPod Touch 32GB.
